Mr. Sprenger brings with him a lifetime of experience in long-term care, having “grown up” in his family’s business, Sprenger Health Care Systems, a $120million long-term care company operating approximately 20 facilities across the State of Ohio. He graduated from Ohio University in 1986 with a
Bachelor of Business Administration before going to work for Sprenger Health Care Systems,
where he held a variety of positions, including nursing home administrator, operations director and chief executive officer. Mr. Sprenger, who has extensive experience in long-term care facility management and operations, joined Continuing Healthcare Solutions, Inc. as its Chief Operating Officer in August 2012.
Mr. Sprenger serves on the Board of Directors of the Ohio Health Care Association and is known throughout the industry for his diligent, integrity-based approach to long-term care operations.
Mr. Mallett has over seventeen years of experience in long-term care.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Management from Dyke College in 1994, Mr. Mallett began his long-term care career with Sprenger Health Care Systems, where he ultimately served as Vice President of Facilities. In this role, Mr. Mallett was responsible for facility design, renovations, equipment procurement, life safety compliance and project management.
Mr. Mallett has served on various charitable boards, was chair of the American Health Care Life Safety Committee, served on the National Fire Protection Association Health Care Committee executive board and has been active in the Ohio Health Care Association.
Mr. Mallett joined Continuing Healthcare Solutions, Inc. in 2013 as Vice President, and will focus on facilities improvement, safety and development.
Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Mr. Sprenger has over 20 years of experience in the long-term care industry. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Systems Analysis from Miami University in 1990 he joined Sprenger Healthcare Systems in 1994 where he held numerous roles including Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President. He oversaw numerous facility acquisitions, negotiated joint ventures and managed bank financing, in addition to other operational responsibilities.
Mr. Sprenger joined Continuing Healthcare Solutions, Inc. in January 2014 and is responsible for all home office operations.
M. Jeffrey Bunner
Vice President and Treasurer
A licensed physical therapist, Mr. Bunner’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kent State University and a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Elon College in conjunction with Duke University. Mr. Bunner began his professional career serving in the role of a staff therapist and then as the Director of Therapy and Pain Management for a large acute care organization in the Canton, Ohio area.
Since 2002, Mr. Bunner has concentrated his efforts on founding and operating therapy service
providers and other healthcare-related organizations. In 2003, Mr. Bunner founded CBG Therapy Services, Inc., which provided physical, occupational and speech therapy services to skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, home health agencies and hospitals. In addition, Mr. Bunner founded Ideal Home Healthcare, a Medicare-certified home health agency located in Canton, Ohio.
Today, Mr. Bunner focuses his attention entirely on the day-to-day operations of Continuing Healthcare Solutions, Inc., and serves as president of CHS Therapy Services, our wholly owned therapy company, which represents a culmination of his professional experience and entrepreneurial background.
Benjamin J. Parsons, Esq.
Vice President and General Counsel
A 1999 graduate of Miami University and 2003 graduate of the Ohio State University Moritz
College of Law, Mr. Parsons recently joined Continuing Healthcare Solutions, Inc. as Vice President
and in-house counsel following more than nine years of experience as a healthcare lawyer in
two of Ohio’s largest and most prestigious law firms.
He has significant experience in healthcare-related transactional and regulatory matters, particularly in the long-term care field. Mr. Parsons’ duties include overseeing regulatory compliance, facility acquisitions, human resources, contracting, facility licensure and certification and a variety of ther legal and business/management issues. Mr. Parsons is a four-time recipient of the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars designation for his work in the fields of healthcare and business law.
MBA, Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Dular holds a BSBA from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Ashland University. She has more than twenty five years of experience in management, accounting, and financing across many industries including as a business college instructor, the controller for the Cleveland Indians and as an acute hospital financial analyst.
Over the last fourteen years, Ms. Dular’s experience is in the financial operations of healthcare organizations including development and management of the operating and capital budgets, strategic planning, monthly operations reporting, service line analysis, decision support in new business ventures as well as with pricing and labor productivity.
Ms. Dular handles reporting of financial results to both internal and external constituents. She has an in depth knowledge of healthcare finance, budgets, forecasting and reimbursement and works closely with corporate staff on all financial and accounting matters to ensure policies and procedures are implemented and utilized. This includes full support of operational management including assisting in training, communication to staff on all levels as needed, and developing policies and procedures.
